Jacket pattern cutting
|No courses found.|
If you have trouble finding a jacket to fit you and the standard sized jackets in the shops just donít look right on you, please come and join us for a weekend of pattern cutting. You will be shown how to take precise measurements, draft a basic pattern block and adapt it to create a bespoke jacket pattern that will fit you perfectly.
So bring along a few ideas, images or a jacket you would like to copy and you will soon have a pattern you can make up into a wearable garment.
All your equipment will be provided but if you have any pattern cutting tools please feel free to bring them along.
Pattern paper and calico are provided as well as plenty of tea, coffee and homemade cake to keep you going. You may wish to bring some lunch or pop out to one of the many cafes in town.
If you are not sure what jacket you want to create, pop in to the Sewing Emporium for a chat with Jules and she can point you in the right direction.
We will send you more detailed information on this when you book your place.
