Take your handmade wardrobe a stage further and sew your own pair of custom made-to-measure Jeans.

You need to have done some dressmaking before, (you might want to have a look at some of our other dressmaking classes if not), and be comfortable using a sewing machine.

Closet Case Files have produced a range of brilliant patterns so you can choose from a pair of skinny jeans, classic boot cut, casual boyfriend jeans or “on trend” flares.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Use a commercial pattern
  • Layout and cut in a single layer
  • Get a custom fit
  • Sew a fly zip
  • Add the rivets and other jeans ‘hardware’

You will need to choose your pattern, either the Ginger or the Morgan, patterns can be purchased from us. You’ll also need your fabric:-

Ginger - 2-3m (depending on the size you wish to make, contact us for more information) it needs to have at least 2% stretch.

Morgan - 2-3m (depending on the size you wish to make, contact us for more information) this fabric doesn’t need to have any stretch.

You can also purchase a Jeans hardware pack from us to include all the other notions you will need.
