This workshop run over two weeks.
Slippy fabrics can feel gorgeous to wear next to your skin, but it can be a bit tricky to work with for the uninitiated.
However, in this workshop we will show you how to handle slippery silky fabrics to get the best results.
What you'll learn:
How to lay out the pattern pieces on to the fabric
How to cut out accurately
How to sew the right seams to use with a lightweight slippy fabric
How to insert lace
How to make rouleau loops
How to finish an edge
What you'll need to bring:
1m of 120cm or 140cm wide fabric. (This can be silk ![]()
crepe de chine, a printed viscose poly crepe satin or any light weight slippy fabric. You can give us a call for more advice on 01789 330588.)
If you would like to include some lace on your camisole you can purchase some on the day from a selection we have in store or bring along your own.
