Our Angelica Dress is a perfect transitional style, layering it up in cooler weather as we move into Spring or wearing alone roomy and comfortable, being the perfect style for warmer weather!
The basic shape is comfortable and loose with options for different sleeves dependant on what your preference is. In this class you will learn how to determine which size to make, how to gather the layered skirt tiers, how to make the cross over shoulder detail and sew buttons and buttonholes.
This class is for the confident beginner dressmaker who know their way around a sewing machine and have made some simple projects before.
What you need to bring:
- You will need approximately 3 – 4.5 m of fabric depending on your size. Our sizes range from 8- 30 - see attached images for sizing and fabric quantities. Suitable fabrics: Linen, ramie, viscose rayon, lightweight chambray, cotton lawn. Just email if you’re not sure and we will be pleased to help you.
- Any sewing equipment you want to use from home - not sewing machines please
