Rosalind Pyjamas Pattern
£20.00
Rosalind is from As You Like It and is warm, intelligent and strong of character.
Exiled from her homeland after the death of her father, she manages to subvert the female standards of the day and turns them on their heads by appearing dressed as a man for most of the play.
Initially, her disguise is a form of self-preservation but later she uses her alter ego, Ganymede, to woo the man she loves and teaches him to become a more attentive lover. She is witty and self-deprecating yet has a big heart and is open to the possibilities love may bring.
