Desdemona is from Othello and is seen as a tragic character given her untimely end. She is young and in love with her husband Othello. But after lago drips lies and malevolence into Othello's ear, she has to defend her own fidelity to her beloved husband. Right to the end she lovely her husband and forgives his insane jealousy and even her own murder, retaining such dignity even though she is so young.
Our Desdemona will certainly not be a tragedy! It is an absolute must as a 'go-to' wardrobe staple.
