Freelance Sewing and Creative Tutors
Do you love sharing the creative knowledge you have?
Come and work with us to help other people sew and make.
Sew Me Something has been helping people to sew and make their own clothes for nearly 10 years with our own range of dressmaking patterns and online courses. We have grown from a simple haberdashery store to an award winning, multi strand business providing help and support for would be dressmakers and crafters.
We are now looking to increase our team of Freelance Sewing Tutors to run and teach creative and sewing workshops and help us share the love for making and creating.
You will need to have experience in dressmaking and/or pattern cutting and be able to demonstrate advanced sewing skills. Or experience in other crafts that would work well as classes or workshops.
An excellent ability to communicate is a must, as is patience and the enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge and experience. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
Full training on how to deliver Sew Me Something Workshops will be provided as well as plenty of support during the running of your workshops and courses.
Sew Me Something has a developed an outstanding reputation for running high quality learning experiences so we are looking for the right people to be able to help us maintain our excellent standards.
In return we offer competitive hourly rates for teaching, full support during the running of the workshops and support should you wish to formalise your teaching experience into a qualification.
We are a friendly, supportive and creative team that has a lot of fun doing what we love. If you think you would like to be apart of this please send your application including a COVERING LETTER and an up to date C.V. to Jules Fallon at email@example.com.
