Clone Your Clothes Workshop

Workshop description - Do you have a favourite top that has seen better days but you can’t bear to part with it? Cloning your clothes is the perfect way to keep the love alive for your favourite piece of clothing. Patterns can easily be taken from simple items of clothing. 

In this workshop you will be able to trace off a pattern from your simple top or dress and use that to make up a new version of an old favourite.

How to reverse engineer how a garment is put together

How to take a pattern from an old piece of clothing

How to add in darts and gathers

How to true up a pattern and check it works

How to include all the pattern information you need to make up your garment

Confidence level  - Level 2

Calico for toiles

All your sewing equipment

Plenty of tea coffee and cake to keep you sewing

What you need to bring - 

A couple of simple garments you want to clone - We can decide which is best  for the workshop
