Evening Sewing Workshop - Two Week

Do you know your way around a sewing machine but haven't ventured into dressmaking yet? This is your chance to take the next step!

This class is for improving beginners who have attended our Intro to Sewing Workshop and are familiar with a Sewing Machine, but looking to progress into dressmaking.

Week 1 - Free Machine Embroidery Festive Embroidery Hoop - All materials are included but you are welcome to bring scraps of fabric from home too.  You can embellish your work with applique and hand stitching too if desired.

Week 2 - Make a pair of Pyjama bottoms - Please bring your own fabric, you will need:

• 1.5-2m medium weight woven fabric, 150cm (60in) wide
• 10-20cm (4-8in)contrasting fabric for the inside of the waistband (optional)
• 2-2.5m twill tape, 1cm wide for the drawstring
• Matching thread (several available free but can't guarantee the colour match to your fabric)
