This simple, comfortable shape is overlocked together for speed and will give a decorative finish to the edges too. With big pockets to keep your hands warm as well, why wouldn't you want to make one of these?

You will need approximately 2.5m of 140cm wide fabric to make the long version less if you would like to make a shorter coat or jacket. But please call us for more information on fabric quantities.

Boiled wool works best but you could make it in a heavy weight jersey too. So you can either raid your stash or purchase what you need from our online shop.

You will need to be familiar with an overlocker for this workshop, so if you are new to these lovely contraptions you might want to have a look at the Love Your Overlocker Workshop.

All other notions and equipment will be provided as well as plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep you sewing.
