The Viola Skirt Workshop
This is another workshop that will extend your dressmaking skills. You will learn how to cut and sew a bias piping, how to attach a waistband and facing and also how to mark and sew button holes.
It looks great in complementary printed cottons, plain linen, denim or a light-weight wool with a contrasting print, so it’s perfect for any season. Our beautiful Janome sewing machine will even help you sew a decorative stitch to pick out a particular colour.
You will need approximately 1.4m for the shorter skirt and 1.7m for the longer depending on the size and print of your fabric, along with two sets of buttons to make your skirt reversible.
We will provide the pattern, sewing threads and plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep you going, but you will need to bring some lunch with you.
Join us at our Studio in Stratford Upon Avon (CV37 8DX) for this Sewing Workshop and learn how to sew your own Skirt.
