Then let us help you make your own perfectly fitting Ursula Summer dress.

This simple bodice shape has a choice of either curved or V shaped front neckline with a crossed over back giving a lovely V shape here as well. The A line skirt has little pleats to soften  the waistline and with both in-seam and patch pockets you can take your pick. As she is sleeveless, she will also double up as a pinafore dress too.

• How to use the correct interlinings and tapes to get a professional finish
• How to attach a facing
• How to sew a bound armhole
• How to sew a pleated skirt
• How to sew in seam pockets
• How to sew patch pocket
• Finishing your garment

Skill Level

Level 2  Confident Beginner

• Confident with using a sewing machine
• Mastered the sewing basics
• Can complete simple projects, such as a cushion cover or zipped bag, without any difficulty
• Find your way around an easy pattern

• 10% off any other fabrics purchased on the day of your course
• Use of all machines and sewing tools
• Use of our sewing threads in a variety of neutral colours
• The paper pattern with instruction booklet
• Tea/coffee and cakes will be included so please let us know any dietary requirements at the time of booking

• Fabric - contact us for quantities depending on the size you are making
• Matching sewing threads
• Any sewing tools or equipment you want to use from home
