An Introduction to Life Drawing

Always wanted to have a go but worried that you wouldn’t be good enough.  If so, this is the workshop for you!

Drawing from the human form is a time-honoured, traditional skill; it is also a surprisingly mindful experience.  This full day workshop is designed for complete beginners but also caters for those with some drawing experience who wish to develop their skills further.

You will draw a range of poses from a professional nude life model throughout the day and learn how to plan, measure and refine your drawings using the sight-size method. Donna will be on hand to support you as you tackle each drawing, and you will be able to see real improvements in your work by the end of the day. The techniques that you learn during the workshop can be applied to all aspects of drawing whether that might be a portrait, landscape or still-life piece that you want to create elsewhere.
