Beatrice Pinafore Sewing Pattern
Good old fashioned no-nonsense pinafore. Beatrice is a great cover-all type of garment. There are no darts as it is a very loose fitting garment and designed to be worn over a T-shirt or sweatshirt, and the cross over at the back is enough to prevent the back gaping open.
The large curved patch pockets are bound at the top edge.
Version 1:
Is finished off with a bound edge all the way round.
Version 2:
Is finished off with a small hem.
Version 3:
Is lined with a contrast fabric to enclose all the raw edges.

| Binding | Binding can be made from ready-made bias binding and you will need 7 - 8m. If using 140cm wide fabric there will be enough spare fabric left to cut the bias strips for the binding. |

When deciding on sizing, we advise you to take the finished garment measurements into consideration (these are detailed at the back of your instruction booklet).
