Come and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of whimsy for a day, and learn to make a Needle Felted Miniature Mouse and its up-cycled house!
This delightful workshop includes learning how to make a tiny needle felted mouse and then using up-cycled materials, create it a little home! The finished mouse will be approx 5-6cm tall, and fully posable as the core is created with pipe-cleaners and needle felted wool (1 mouse per participant).
The workshop is suitable for all levels and all ages but please note you will be working with sharp needles so care must be taken. Children from the age of 8yrs are welcome with an accompanying adult.
You wont need to bring anything as all tools, materials, finger protectors and tuition will be included. Your tutor Kamilla will give step by step guidance through the process of making your Mouse
Once you have created your little Mouse Character, it's time to get your up-cycling groove on and create a 'Mouse House'. Working with a selection of everyday household items such as cardboard, paper, fabric, yarn, felt, natural treasures like shells or pinecones, buttons, beads, etc you will design and build a house/ diorama/ book-nook for the mice.
