Imogen Dress/Top workshop

Learn to make the Imogen! This raglan sleeve style is a relaxed shape through the body with a slight trapeze line to give it a bit of swing. Gentle gathers fit around the curved neck band with the option to have an open placket to finish the neckline. With both a short and long sleeve version to make as either a top or dress you are spoilt for choice!

Skill level: Confident Sewer

Version 1:

Beautifully simple but elegant Top with a flattering yoke neckline and casual raglan sleeves. Long or short sleeved, you can make this in a whole range of fabrics and it’ll never let you down.

Version 2:

A lovely everyday dress with a ribbed neckband and cuffs. Our Imogen has proven to be one of our most popular patterns to date becoming a real staple in your wardrobe.

Version One 

Linen | Cotton Lawn | Cotton Poplin | Viscose Rayon | Double Gauze | Crepe

Version Two 

Single Jersey | Medium Weight French Terry | Double Gauze | Linen | Cotton Lawn | Viscose Rayon

What to bring:

• Fabric - you will need to bring your main fabric depending on which version you want to make.  Narrow 1cm Elastic and for Version Two - Stretch Ribbing for the neckband and cuffs

• Any Sewing equipment you want to use from home (not Sewing machines please)

• We have an onsite cafe - The Makers' Kitchen - with a selection of delicious, light rustic food, as well as award-winning Monsoon Estates coffee and scrumptious cakes.

• Use of sewing machines, tools and equipment

• The paper pattern and sewing threads

• There will be plenty of tea and coffee to keep you sewing through the day

• If you want to purchase fabric from us there is a 10% discount for workshop attendees on the day, but call ahead to make sure we have what you require in stock
