This relaxed introductory course into stencil printing will teach you how to
create beautiful botanical patterns on both fabric and paper, with the day’s
main activity decorating a cushion cover.

Working with Melanie’s own stencil designs inspired by her love of gardens
and the Dorset countryside, the workshop is perfect for both complete
beginners and those who may have used stencils before.

Using her creative approach and novel system you will be guided through the
process of building and layering up a design, she will share with you her
knowledge, techniques and tips for successful printing onto fabric. Finally
learning how to fix the decoration to ensure that the cushion cover is fully
hand washable.

By the end of the workshop the skills, knowledge and inspiration that you
will have gained, plus the kit that is yours to take home, will mean that you can continue decorating a whole variety of items…the opportunities for projects are endless!

A workshop kit to the value of £20 is included as part of this event, it
will be yours to use on the day and then take home with you.

Whats Included:

• Cow Parsley stencil set, two stencil brushes and white cotton cushion cover.
• Additional colours of specialist paints and botanical stencils will be available during the course for you to use.
